Rice Lake Clouds
Sometimes the sky is so blue and the clouds are so fluffy that you can’t help but stare endlessly into the sky. It’s just so pretty.
We had a day like that last weekend at Rice Lake.

My son alerted me to a jet in the sky, and well, I couldn’t resist snapping another shot of the fluffy clouds.

My husband commented that I like to include a lot of the sky in my pictures. I have to agree. The sky can be so dynamic with texture and color. I was one of those kids who would lay out in the grass with my hands behind my head and stare at the clouds. I don’t do that much as a grown-up – I should try to do it more often.

Robert Traver once wrote about this beautiful sign which he found on an old Finnish farmstead:

AND DATS TO BE NO PULLSIT.
in other news… the text field for comments is white-on-light-grey. I can hardly read it!
Oh boy…I’ll fix it!!!
Whew…crisis averted. Leaving a comment should be much better now :)
Thanks for letting me know!
Haha. I like “DA 2 PIPE SOT GUN”
Sadly, it’s still the same — white text on a light grey backgroud. When I’m not mousing over the field, it’s white on white. :(
Also… huh… I swear I had posted this comment on the post with “No Huntin, No Fishin, No Nuthin”. Weird…
I went ahead and copied it over there for you :)
