Where in the Copper Country Wednesday – #4
First of all, my apologies. It is now Sunday morning and here is Wednesday’s post. Sorry to keep everyone hanging for the answer to last week. dcclark nailed it – the answer to last week’s picture is the Osceola #13 as viewed from across the ponds not too far from Swedetown (for more information on this series, please see the beginning of this post).
Now that I have my computer hooked up to some high speed internet, things will resume on here. I still have pics from the 4th of July parade and I also have some pics from the fireworks in Copper Harbor. Expect many pictures the next few days.
This week’s picture is a very special spot to me. It’s a place I stumbled across way back when and fell in love with it. I camped out here in a sleeping bag under a blanket of stars (with one ear open for critters, of course). It is one of my favorite places to go to “get away” since it is often very quiet unless you come out here on a summer day. I have a feeling this will be an easy one, so that is all the clues for today :)

Where in the Copper Country is this picture taken?

Hm, I know I’ve seen this before. I’m going to guess that it’s the end of the beach at Eagle Harbor. I’m thinking it might be somewhere else nearby, though.
oh! Oh! I know! I know!
There is a sign like this at Bete Gris Beach, however the direction seems different. Must be south of the channel.
The Breakers?
Jeremy was correct! It is Bete Gris.
