Where in the Copper Country Wednesday #10
dcclark is on a roll and guessed correctly last week. I guess it doesn’t surprise me. By looking at his blog, he’s traveled the area a bit. It was indeed the track at the Houghton County Museum in Lake Linden (for more information on this series, please see the beginning of this post).
Let’s see if I can stump him this week. I had no clue this place existed until we stopped by last weekend. We were riding our bikes on the trail south out of Houghton and came across a trailhead and took it. We came across this bridge:

No idea, so I’m gonna guess that it’s in the Keweenaw, south of the Portage along a body of water.

Hmmmm, I have to guess again! This looks like something along the boardwalks at the Sturgeon River Sloughs to me. Those pilings on the right are really confusing me…

This bridge is a part of the Peepsock Trail in Houghton.
Cool! Now I’ll have to go find it…
