This is my first real attempt at a video. It was fun! I might do it more often.

I’m taking a bit of a break because we have been working on a new website and of course, we had to spend some time and go out and enjoy the fall colors. The past few weeks in the Keweenaw have been amazing. I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen a more vibrant year for fall color. Of course, photos never seem to do the fall color display justice, but I gave it a shot.

Probably within a month, I’ll be back on here posting on a regular basis. Just in time for the snow :)

With having Monday off work, I am behind the times. I sure hope I don’t end up going to work on Saturday because I think it’s Friday :-)

Last week’s picture was a tough one. It is the bridge you cross while traveling the Peepsock Trail in Houghton (for more information on this series, please see the beginning of this post).

This week’s picture comes from the southern part of the Copper Country. If you follow this pipeline (not the direction my photo is taken, but the other way) you come across a very large structure.

My son was eating a cookie and dropped a chunk. A nearby chipmunk took the opportunity. He sure got a mouthful!

He also let me get really close to him. He was either very used to humans or very pre-occupied with the yummy cookie :-)

I guess it doesn’t surprise me. By looking at his blog, he’s traveled the area a bit. It was indeed the track at the Houghton County Museum in Lake Linden (for more information on this series, please see the beginning of this post).

Let’s see if I can stump him this week. I had no clue this place existed until we stopped by last weekend. We were riding our bikes on the trail south out of Houghton and came across a trailhead and took it. We came across this bridge:
