This year’s fireworks display at Copper Harbor was awesome. I mean, normally they are great. The fireworks have a great backdrop (Lake Superior), after all. But this year, they had so many fireworks. At one point, everyone thought the display was over and yells of approval echoed across the town. [...]

2008 Bridgefest Fireworks

The rain stayed away all day yesterday, and we ended up having a beautiful day in the Keweenaw. The Bridgefest activities were in full swing, but we ended up heading to the Eastern shore to check out a few places we haven’t been to yet (more about that later).
